Just got a new E MTB wanted to upgrade my stock seat... checked out Mike's Bikes of San Francisco. Scored a great deal on a Fizik seat and as a bonus Mike's has a 30 day return window if u are not happy with your purchase bring it back No Problem! I understand so many intricacies with setting up a bike for comfort and most important to protect your body from damage or injury from having an improper seat size...adjustment...etc. Great to know that Mikes takes this into consideration and protects you by offering this option! Sydney helped me with my purchase and advised of return policy and to top off the excellent customer service she installed the seat while i waited at no additional cost as a courtesy! Twice in the past month, the bumpy bike lane along Folsom Street in SOMA due to construction caused my chain to pop off my Mission Bicycle (internal hub, so no derailleur). Both times I walked my bike over to Mike's Bikes and they fixed my chain, no questions asked and didn't even ask for payment. Great bike shop crew, super friendly.

My fiancé and I were looking for endurance road bikes to get into longer bike rides. We had done our research but working with Aaron helped us find the perfect bikes. He was able to answer all of our questions, make recommendations for exactly what we were looking for, and helped us bring in bikes from other stores as they didn’t have the size/model currently at the San Francisco store. I would highly recommend Mike’s Bikes for all of your bike needs!

Not helpful + no effort to help I came into Mike’s Bikes hoping for support with a few issues on my e-bike — basic things like parts and service. Not only were they unable to help, but they also made no real effort to guide me elsewhere. I was told flat out they couldn’t touch my bike, they didn’t have the part I needed, and there were no suggestions or referrals offered. I understand not every shop works on all bikes, but I’ve visited smaller, independent stores that at least try to point you in the right direction. Here, it felt like a dead end. Disappointing, especially when you come in ready to spend and just want to keep your ride safe and moving.

Great people, great advice, great service. I was looking for a bike for my 3-year-old and left with a bike and we are very happy.

Cardigan (Max Coates) is a life saver! I'm currently on a cycle tour from Canada to Mexico and needed a look over on the bike desperately - it was done so quickly and now I can hit the road and make up miles. Brilliant shop, lovely guy.
