Golden Gate Park Tours

This was so much fun. All the tour guides were hilarious and equally full of knowledge. They teach you everything you need to know how to ride a Segway. (I want to buy one for myself now!) This is also an amazing way to see the park. Highly recommended! Just beware that it’s cold; even in July. Dress accordingly.

Totally worth the price. Excellent tour with off-roading and a brief history of the park during the ride. Guides took time to make sure everyone was comfortable and knew how to manuever. Received a discount on our next ride which we will definitely do again soon! I've lived here for 3 years and learned so much about my beloved GGP!

We had a great time! Johannes was an excellent guide sharing many interesting facts about the park and be very entertaining while doing so! He truly enjoys being a guide and it shows. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to explore the park beyond just walking around it.

Loved Alicia and our tour guide Cass. This was truly a great experience and one everyone should try, at least once. I'd never been on a segway prior, but was very comfortable with it after the training by Cass. The sightseeing was quite beautiful. A must do in the Bay!!

Wonderful weather, great staff, fun times had by all! A terrific way to experience the grandeur and learn the hidden secrets of Golden Gate Park. Segway is definitely an "E Ticket" ride.....🙉🙈🙊

Arrived at the park today Sept 2025 to find segways don't exist in the park no more,so don't bother!

First of all you don't want to miss visiting the Japanese Tea Garden in San Francisco. This Golden Gate Segway tour was amazing!! The staff are incredibly friendly, helpful, and should be doing comedy on a stand-up stage. We took our Segway tour with our leader Sundog. This tour begins with a hands on experience using the Segway. There is a video explaining how to get on and off your Segway and how to operate it safely. Next, your guide gives you individual training with the Segway. Once they are sure you know how to use it, off, you go on an amazing adventure. Sundog, took us through the park, explained the different species of Flora throughout the park, gave us an interesting history of the people that created the park and background history of San Francisco itself. The tour was supposed to last 2 and 1/2 hours but it went on a little longer, which I was very grateful for. We stopped several times at interesting spots. We also got to taste some very delicious edible plants. If you are a history and nature buff, you will love this tour. If you our adventurous you will love the segways. I highly recommend this tour. You will have a blast!

Fantastic tour, highly recommend it for seeing various sections of the park and the history behind it. All while having a great time learning how to ride a Segway! Our guide (Devin) did a great job showing us around and was very patient with my sister who was a little nervous learning the ropes. All in all fun tour for the family!
